Solutions and Technologies
for Business Process Management

FORS team of experts can carry out a complete set of works related to the optimization of business processes using state of the art technologies of analysis and modeling. These works can be done both individually and within the framework of introducing corporate IT systems as well as management and finance accounting systems.

Means and methods of business process automation

FORS uses its own approach to the enhancement of business processes based on advanced management methods and technologies created by world leaders in the area of Business Process Analyzing and Business Process Management, Casewise and Oracle.

The unique feature of this approach is maximum exclusion of manual operations in modeling processes, thus minimizing the probability of mechanical mistakes.

A business process management optimization project can include the following stages:

Description of the business processes and creating the business model of an organization;

Creation of normative documents;

Translation of business modeling results into the business process automation environment;

Business process automation;

Description of the business processes and creating the business model of an organization.

The first stage of optimizing business processes is their detailed description necessary to determine automation tasks.

The Zachman Framework is currently the best recognized means of enterprise architecture framework modeling in the world. FORS uses the same approach implemented by means of Casewise Corporate Modeler.

Business process modeling can be done by any of the below listed means, whichever is more convenient and affordable for the customer:

Casewise Corporate Modeler Suite;

Oracle BPA (Business Process Analysis);

V-Modeler application.

V-Modeler solution developed by FORS and currently forming part of Casewise Corporate Modeler Suite line of products allows to carry out business process modeling in Microsoft Office Visio and later convert the ready diagrams into one unified model with the help of Casewise Corporate Modeler. Therefore, creation of a business process model can be done simultaneously in various departments of a company with the use of simple and familiar tools which helps to significantly reduce costs at the modeling stage.

Generating normative documents

Generator ND (Normative Documents Generator) software was created by FORS. This tool allows to generate regulations, instructions, departmental charters and job descriptions directly from the business process model. Since the requirement for filling-in the fields of normative documents is quite strict, “Generator ND” simultaneously check the business processes for completeness of the input information (availability of responsible persons, normative documents, targets and indicators of business processes) which allows to dramatically decrease the number of mistakes and inconsistencies while creating a model.

Using this software as part of the solution for optimization of the business processes allows to fully automate normative document generation activity of the whole organization.

Translation of business modeling results into business process automation environment

The advantage of FORS’ approach on the subject is using BPM Bridge translator at the automation stage as an in-built module of Casewise Corporate Modeler. BPM Bridge allows to convert the results of modeling into XPDL (XML Process Definition Language) and BPEL (Business Process Executive Language), while other analogous solutions support only one of these two languages. The business process is subjected to an additional check for consistency of the created objects and connections between them, then the diagram is translated into and intermediate language code (XPDL or BPEL) which in its turn is downloaded into the BPM tool.

Using BPM Bridge tool allows to:

avoid repetitions in the descriptions of business processes in the BPM tool where the ready model is translated as well as mechanical mistakes during transfer;

translate the business process anew in the event of changing the original process.

Business Process Automation

Automation of business processes is built on Oracle BPM Suite and Oracle SOA Suite technologies using the Application Integration Architecture approach.

Oracle BPM uses full cycle engineering for identifying disruptions in the processes which enables the organization to control business processes all throughout its lifecycle.

Oracle SOA Suite is the only package solution in its field which supports all templates and means of integration a customer may require.

Application Integration Architecture the most complete integration solution allowing to build flexible customer-oriented transparent business processes on the basis of existing enterprise applications.
